Family Art Cart

Join us at Stillwater Public Library on Wednesdays from 3:00 - 7:30 p.m. for Family Art Cart. In addition to being fun, making things with your hands benefits child development, especially fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Each week, we'll provide supplies and a suggested project that you can make with your child. This self paced activity will be set up in the storytime room.

Teen Writing Group

Teens, join us at Stillwater Public Library on the first Tuesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. for a chance to come together and share your short stories, poetry, or prose. You can workshop original writing and gain critical feedback from your peers in a no-pressure environment! Network, socialize and collaborate with other teens interested in writing. There will also be opportunities to try out different kinds of writing exercises and discuss topics in writing. Baby & Toddler Drop-in Play

Join us at Stillwater Public Library on Tuesdays from 10:45 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. for Baby & Toddler Drop-in Play. Join other babies, toddlers and caregivers in the storytime room to socialize and play with library provided and developmentally appropriate toys.

Baby & Toddler Storytime

Join Puppy Pete and his other puppet friends at Stillwater Public Library on Tuesdays at 10:15 a.m. for Baby & Toddler Storytime as we sing, play, read, write and talk during this inclusive storytime for families with babies and toddlers. Stay and play after storytime (until noon). Storytime is a great opportunity to meet new friends, socialize and strengthen early literacy skills!   Read more about Baby & Toddler Storytime

Brick Party

Join us at Stillwater Public Library on the first Saturday of each month through May between 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. for Brick Party.  For kids of all ages to use their imagination to create using bricks derived from a word meaning "play well". Bricks will be provided by the library, please leave your personal bricks at home. Come build your own design or complete a provided challenge idea. One creation per builder will be on display in the library all month.

Making Sense of Your Money & How You're Spending It

Join us at Stillwater Public Library on Thursday, January 30 at 6:00 p.m. for Making Sense of Your Money & How You're Spending It. Need help on how to begin to create a responsible, spending-savvy budget? Can’t figure out how to get or improve your credit? The class will introduce “The Budget Cycle,” which includes steps to maintain a successful budget: setting goals, tracking expenses, preparing a spending plan, following the plan, evaluating the plan and adjusting the plan as needed.

Post-It Note Art

Join us at Stillwater Public Library on Saturday, January 18 anytime between 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. for Post-It Note Art. Help transform the Teen Library Space from blah to WOW with some Post-It Note Art! You decide on the design (bring your own or use one we already have) to create and then, ready… set… post away! Ages 12-18.

Family Board Game Night

Join us at Stillwater Public Library on Thursday, January 16 at 6:00 p.m. for Family Board Game Night. Play some board games at the library! A variety of games for all ages will be available to play in the teen space. Try out Code Names, Candyland, Ticket to Ride, Battleship, Twister and more. Open to families.
