Preparing for College: Financial Aid

Join us at Stillwater Public Library on Thursday, February 6 at 6:30 p.m. for Preparing for College: Financial Aid. Where can I find scholarships? What exactly is the FAFSA? What will the financial aid office assist me with while I’m at college? This program will answer these questions and more as it explores the different financial aid options available to college students. A representative from the financial aid office at Century College will be on-site to answer questions.

3M Visiting Wizard

Join us at Stillwater Public Library for some live-action STEM as a 3M Visiting Wizard shares her knowledge and passion for science, typically on the 4th Tuesdays in January through May at 6:30 PM. Program is for all ages. No registration is required. Read more about 3M Visiting Wizard

Mystery Book Club

Join us at Stillwater Public Library on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 6:30 PM in February through November for our popular mystery readers club, the Mystery Book Club. (Note: January's meeting is on the 5th Wednesday.) Group members read individual titles of their choice based on the theme, setting, or topic selected by the group at the end of each meeting. All mystery enthusiasts are welcome.

Teen Drop-in DIY

Teens, drop in for some DIY fun at Stillwater Public Library on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays every month between 4:30 and 6:00 PM. There will be supplies available for you to create a fun craft! Teens ages 12-18 are welcome. Our DIY projects for the winter and spring are:

January 28 - Stained Glass Jars
February 11 - Pom-poms
February 25 - Fuse Beads
March 10 - Rubber Band Shooter
March 24 - Buttons
April 14 - Pom-pom Coaster or Braided Sprial Coaster
April 28 - Watercoloring

Second Saturday Storytime

Join us at Stillwater Public Library the second Saturday of each month from 10:15 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. to start your day off with Saturday Family Storytime. We'll share stories, songs, puppets and more designed to enhance your child's literacy skills!

Beta Books - Tween ARC Book Group

Join us at Stillwater Public Library on the 2nd Thursday of each month through May at 4:30 p.m. to be the first to read the newest titles as a participant of the new Beta Books - Tween ARC Book Group!  Want the scoop on new releases and upcoming books? Choose from a selection of Middle Reader ARCs (Advanced Reader Copies), read your book, then come back each month to discuss and share it in a no-pressure environment! Preschool Drop-in Play

Join families and meet new friends during Preschool Drop-in Playtime at Stillwater Public Library on Wednesdays from 10:50 - 11:30 a.m.  Enjoy this dedicated time and space to play alongside your young child in an inclusive and welcoming environment.

Preschool Storytime

Join us at Stillwater Public Library on Wednesdays through April from 10:15 - 10:50 a.m. for Preschool Storytime. Come to see the beloved puppet, Baby Bear, who always has a letter to help us figure out what our storytime is about that day.
