Circus Manduhai

Join us at Stillwater Public Library on Saturday, September 28 at 10:30 a.m. for Circus Manduhai. Come watch this amazing Mongolian family circus featuring acrobatics, juggling, balancing, hula hoops and more!

Teen Silent Library

Join us at Stillwater Public Library on Thursday, September 19 at 6:00 p.m. for Teen Silent Library. Can you hold it together while enduring challenges geared towards getting you to make noise? The name of this game is Silent Library and -in order to win- you must endure “interesting” challenges without making a sound. Bring yourself and maybe even a few friends we will split into teams and compete to see which team can make the least amount of sound in the library. Teens ages 12 - 18. Art Cart

Join us at Stillwater Public Library on Wednesdays from 3:00 - 7:30 p.m. to experience "Art Cart." In addition to being fun, making things with your hands benefits child development, especially fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Each week, we'll provide supplies and a suggested project that you can make with your child. This self paced activity for you to enjoy with your child(ren) will be set up in the storytime room.

Teen Writing Group

Teens, join us at Stillwater Public Library on the first Tuesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. for a chance to come together and share your short stories, poetry, or prose. Workshop original writing and gain critical feedback from your peers in a no-pressure environment! This is your chance to network, socialize and collaborate with other teens interested in writing. There will also be opportunities to try out different kinds of writing exercises and discuss topics in writing. Ages 12-18.

Family Night at the Museum

The Historical Society will host its annual Family Fun Night at the Museum on Saturday, August 17th, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Octagon House Museum, at 1004 3rd Street, Hudson. This is a free event and open to the public.

Families are invited to enjoy an evening full of family friendly games, activities and refreshments.

Entertainment and activities include: old-fashioned yard games, activity booths, story time, and free-will donation mini tours. Read more about Family Night at the Museum

Baby Storytime

Join us at the Stillwater Public Library on Tuesdays at 10:15 a.m. for Baby Storytime with singing, talking, reading, writing, and playing at this inclusive storytime for families with babies. This is a time for you and your baby to bond with one another. Stay and play after storytime (until noon). It’s a great opportunity to meet new friends, socialize, and strengthen early literacy skills! This storytime is recommended for developmental ages 0-2 and their grown-ups (siblings always welcome).

St. Croix Valley Kennel Club Dog Show

Dog lovers will want to check out this weekend event featuring over 1,600 dogs of various breeds. Talk to breeders and learn about specific dog breeds and what it takes to be an award-winning canine. There will also be vendors offering pet related and non-pet related items. Make a day of it and enjoy food from on site food trucks offering food and drink for purchase. Woodbury Days

Woodbury Days, the city's biggest and most beloved summer festival, returns to Ojibway Park at the end of the month for its 41st year. Organizers report that, last year, almost 300 businesses participated in the event and more than 30,000 people attended. Check online for a detailed schedule of events, but don’t miss some perennial favorites: the business fair, the bingo tent, the petting zoo, the Taste of Woodbury, the beer tent…you get the idea.
