Afton Apple Orchard's Apple Fest

Visit Afton Apple Orchard for its annual apple festival. Make memories with your loved ones by participating in this super fun seasonal activity that everyone is sure to love. Take a hayride into the orchard for apple picking or just for fun. The kids will want to conquer Straw Mountain or hitch a ride on the Moo Moo Choo Choo train. There is also a petting zoo for the youngsters to enjoy. Afton Apple Orchard is also home to a 15-acre corn maze! Veterans Day Celebration featuring the Lifelong Singers Choir

Join the St. Croix Valley Lifelong Singers Community Choir, organized by the Dementia Friendly Communities Coalition,  for a free Veterans Day Celebration featuring patriotic and longtime favorite songs. The event is open to all ages and abilities. The choir performs for those with or without dementia who want to enjoy the musical experience and support each other. Disney Trivia Night for Teens

Silly Millies Clay Art for Kids

Join us at Stillwater Public Library on Thursday, October 17 at 10:30 a.m. for Silly Millies Clay Art. Stack and wrap colored polymer clay to magically reveal designs in the clay! Create bug wings and then use wire to make a bug like a dragonfly or beetle that you can put in a plant or hang on a wall. You’ll take your creation home and bake it in your own oven. Ages 6-12. New to Medicare

Join us at Stillwater Public Library on Wednesday, October 16 at 6:00 p.m. for New to Medicare. This presentation reviews what is covered by Parts A, B, C and D of Medicare, as well as Medicare supplement options available. The enrollment process and options for enrollment in Medicare will be discussed along with the personal costs of the program. Homelessness and Affordable Housing: Deepen Conviction and Focus Attention!

Join us at Stillwater Public Library on Tuesday, October 15 for this community call to action on homelessness and affordable housing. The event will begin at 5:30 PM with light refreshments followed by "Awareness, Acceptance and Attitude Leading to Action" program at 6 PM.
