St. Croix Prep Strikes Bull's Eye with State-of-the-Art Archery Facility

Archery is a team sport regulated by a national organization called the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP). This may be the first time you’ve been told either of those things—unless you are associated with St. Croix Preparatory Academy in Stillwater. Archery gets a lot of school support at St. Croix Prep. SCPA has an indoor facility for archery practice and competition. There are other schools in the region with teams, but few schools in the country give archery that kind of focus. Felted Acorn

Join us at Stillwater Public Library on Thursday, February 20 at 6:00 p.m. for Felted Acorn.  It’s amazing what colorful loose wool, warm water, and a little bit of soap can create! Learn how to create wet felted balls and turn them into decorative acorns. String them together to make a garland or display them in a decorative bowl. Class is for adults.

Jumanji Handmade Board Game - Art for Kids ages 6-12

Join us at Stillwater Public Library on Saturday, February 15 at 1:00 p.m. for Jumanji Handmade Board Game. We will design and create a handmade board game inspired by the book and films JUMANJI. Using basic board games as inspiration, we will first design our game boards with markers, tagboard, cardboard and collage. Then we will sculpt game pieces out of model magic clay.
