Sylvan Learning Center offers a number of ways for students to succeed in school. This means anything from help through homework support to transcripts to ACTs to accelerated reading courses.

Time’s running out on the seasonal tap from Lift Bridge that’s created a summery stir this past season. Mango Blonde Ale, a refreshingly crisp 4.6 ABV that’s wetted the taps at the Stillwater brewery all summer, ends its limited run next month.

Local Potter Mike Helke’s Functional Pottery Art

Pouring pots, according to local potter and professor Mike Helke, are not only one of his favorite styles of functional pottery to make, but they are the ode to the history that defines the craft’s very meaning. “It’s a very complex object,” Helke says of the pot designed to pour liquids like gravy, water or any other viscous fluid found tabletop. “There’s a lot to it, architecturally, but it’s also a very fun object to create.” Read more about Local Potter Mike Helke’s Functional Pottery Art
