Join us at the Stillwater Public Library on Thursday, June 15 from 10:30 - 11:00 am for Magician Michael Madden.  Get kids excited about reading. Abradadrabra! The Magic of Reading Magic Show is an interactive and engaging show featuring comedy and audience participation. All About Therapy Horses - with miniature horses!

Join us at the Stillwater Public Library on Wednesday, June 14 from 6:00 - 7:30 pm for All About Therapy Horses - with miniature horses!  Do you like horses?  How about mini horses?  Come and learn about taking care of horses with visiting certified therapy miniature horses. We'll pass around samples of the different things horses eat. Then we'll share a story. After that we'll horse around with some fun activities.

Teen Escape Room! at Stillwater

Join us on Friday, May 26 from 5:00 - 6:30 pm at the Stillwater Public Library for Teen Escape Room! at Stillwater.  Puzzles, mystery, a darkened library, a time limit, and the ominous feeling that someone just might be looking over your shoulder? Yes, please!  You'll work in two teams to solve puzzles and then put your answers together to escape in under 60 minutes!

Community Thread’s Spring into Service

Volunteer as an individual, family, or team from 10:00 am-noon on May 20 for Community Thread’s Spring into Service. Pick the project that’s right for you! Sign up now through May 5. Help local nonprofits strengthen our community by volunteering for a project. Spring into Service matches groups of community volunteers with local nonprofit organizations for this annual service day. Spring into Service allows volunteers to make a difference by assisting with projects such as packing kits, sorting food, planting trees, and much more. Friends of the Stillwater Public Library Book Drive

Are you doing some spring cleaning and need to clear off a shelf of books? Donate your gently used books to the Friends of the Stillwater Public Library.  The Friends will collect books, dvds, and cds on Saturday, April 1 and Saturday, April 8 from 10:30 am – 3:00 pm in the library parking ramp on Third Street. 

None of the following items will be accepted: encyclopedias, magazines, Reader’s Digest Condensed Books, textbooks, religious materials, National Geographic, videos, cassettes, partially used puzzle books. Read more about Friends of the Stillwater Public Library Book Drive

WaterFest 2017

“Make Waves” at WaterFest 2017. This free, family festival celebrating our clean lakes offers fun and an opportunity for outdoor hands-on learning about clean water, wildlife, and land and water conservation. Hudson Working Sheepdog Competition

If you're an animal-lover, and enjoy competition as well, the Wisconsin Working Stock Dog Association's 31st Annual Labor Day Trials are something you'll want to see. Witness some of the best shepherds and sheepdogs in the country compete for the title of "Top Dog" in one of the most beautiful settings anywhere in Minnesota or Wisconsin. You will be amazed at what these dogs can do, how they work using their own talents and in partnership with their handlers to gather sheep and move them with care and precision over hills, around gates and obstacles and into pens.
