Introduction to Screenwriting

Join us at the Stillwater Public Library on Thursday, February 15 and Thursday, February 22 from 6:30 - 8:00 pm for Introduction to Screenwriting.
Come to this two part introductory screenwriting class to learn about
dialogue, scene, and rising action. Learn about script styles, craft

A Kid’s Guide to Writing Short Stories (Grades 4-7)

Join us at the Stillwater Public Library on Saturday, February 24 from 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM for A Kid’s Guide to Writing Short Stories. Are you the kind of person who can tell stories that keep your friends on the edge of their sleeping bags? Then join us and explore different ways to come up with story ideas, and then shape them into engaging, fun stories - complete with characters, plot, and setting - that you can share with all your friends! Moving Target Mystery Book Club

Join us at the Stillwater Public Library on the fourth Wednesday of each month (January-November) from 6:30 - 8:00 pm for our popular mystery readers club, the Moving Target Mystery Book Club.  Group members read individual titles of their choice based on the theme, setting, or topic selected by the group at the end of each meeting. All mystery enthusiasts are welcome.

Mad Science: Planets & Moons - NASA Workshop

Join Mad Schience of Minnesota at the Stillwater Public Library on Saturday, January 27 from 10:30 - 11:30 am for Planets & Moons – NASA Workshop
presented by Mad Science of Minnesota.  Explore the farthest reaches of
our solar system and create a lunar eclipse in this “mad” planetary
tour! Learn about the planets and how they stack up. Learn how
scientists use gravity to slingshot space probes deep into outer
