Spring Break - LEGO Build

Join us at the Stillwater Public Library on Thursday, March 14 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm for Spring Break - LEGO Build. We know not everyone is going to be out of town during the district's spring break. Come to the library and attempt some LEGO challenges. Creations will be on display in the stairwell glass display case. You can also play with our 2 newly donation Laser Peg sets!

Coiled Jewelry (Adult Class)

Join us at the Stillwater Public Library on Friday, March 22 from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm for Coiled Jewelry (Adult Class). Add a statement piece to your accessory collection! Using a variety of yarns and threads, learn how to wrap and tie in a coiling method to make a colorful knotted necklace or bracelet.

Hudson Spring Showcase features "best of Hudson" businesses

Hudson is the place to shop, dine, play and work! Get to know the best of local businesses at the 17th annual Spring Showcase Business Expo sponsored by the Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau. The event will include not only a chance to meet many business exhibitors but also a time to enjoy family entertainment and children’s activities as well. Book Buddies Read Aloud (Grades K-2)

Join us at the Stillwater Public Library on the third Monday each month at 5:00 p.m. for the new program series Book Buddies Read Aloud. Book Buddies is a youth literacy program for children from Kindergarten to Second Grade. Guest readers, Buddies, may be members of the Teen Advisory Board or other community volunteers. A librarian will supervise the program. Following about 20 minutes (with wiggle breaks) where the buddy will read aloud to attendees, there will be a short discussion and a craft or activity that ties into the book. Aliens Attack! Ages 8-12

Join us at the Stillwater Public Library on Wednesday, March 13 at 1:00 PM for Aliens Attack! Attention, Earthlings! Aliens have invaded the library and you are invited to join the fun. Make your own alien spaceship, learn how to navigate an asteroid field, make some alien slime, and participate in other games and activities that are out of this world! This activity is for kids ages 8-12.

Torn Paper Lions - Collage Art for Kids

Join us at the Stillwater Public Library on Saturday, March 9 at 1:00 PM for Torn Paper Lions - Collage Art for Kids. "March comes in like a LION..." so why not make a lion drawing and collage with recycled paper? Learn to draw a lion face then color it with bold neon oil pastels. Cut out the face and set aside while you tear lots of colorful magazine pages into long strips for a beautiful mane!
