Walk when the Moon is full to listen and look for these flying mousetraps! Great horned and barred owls make the nature center home. Back inside, dissect an owl pellet to identify the teeth and bones of the creatures they eat. Learn to identify 5 owl calls and practice calling, too! Bring a mug for a hot beverage afterward! Join us at Stillwater Public Library on Monday, December 9 at 6:00 p.m. for stories, songs, movement, and more to encourage the development of early learning skills. For children ages 5 and under and their caregivers.

Join us at the Stillwater Public Library on Tuesdays at 10:15 a.m. for Baby Storytime with singing, talking, reading, writing, and playing at this inclusive storytime for families with babies. This is a time for you and your baby to bond with one another. Stay and play after storytime (until noon). It’s a great opportunity to meet new friends, socialize, and strengthen early literacy skills! This storytime is recommended for developmental ages 0-2 and their grown-ups (siblings always welcome).

Santa is coming to Lift Bridge Brewery on Sunday, December 1st from 10am-2pm, and instead of just waiting in line with the kids – adults can wait in line with a fresh beer, root beer or hard Setlzer! The Stillwater Nutcracker, now in its 29th year, is a family-friendly version of the classical ballet, choreographed to the music of Tchaikovsky, and follows the traditional story line of the young girl named Clara and her Christmas dream. Our version includes a live narration and the exuberant dancing of children from the age of five through professional level dancers who grace the show with beauty and spirit.
