The festive celebration will feature Santa and his reindeer skiing the slopes from chair lift 1 to arrive at the ski school in the Meadows from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Santa will then be available for photos with his reindeer outside the Meadows Chalet at the Big Orange Chair and the Alps Fire Pit Area from 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Guests are also welcome to fill out letters to Santa with their wish lists for the holiday season. Join us at Stillwater Public Library on the first Saturday of each month through May between 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. for Brick Party. For kids of all ages to use their imagination to create using bricks derived from a word meaning "play well". Bricks will be provided by the library, please leave your personal bricks at home. Come build your own design or complete a provided challenge idea. One creation per builder will be on display in the library all month.

Minnesota’s premier family-friendly winter resort, Afton Alps, is opening for the much-anticipated ski and snowboard season on Friday, November 22 at 3:30 p.m. To celebrate, Afton Alps will offer s’mores and hot cocoa, food trucks, live music, hat-making and much more until the resort closes at 8 p.m. Opening day rates will be $39, or $34 with the Preferred Program.
