What’s my inspiration behind this photograph? I crave situations where the lighting can change dramatically during a shooting session. The combination of early morning light and fog always present a challenge because both change so fast and independently!

Held on the shores of the St. Croix River, the Rivertown Fall Art Festival displays work from over 100 artists who specialize in art forms such as painting, pottery and jewelry.

At his home-cum-greenhouse complex in Lakeland, Kevin Oshima does not have a television or a computer. He does have somewhere between 6,000 and 10,000 bonsai plants, along with a household of exotic objects collected over a half century of traveling the world.
