This fall, the doors of the new Pony Activity Center (PAC) opened to the public with an incredibly positive response. The facility, a longtime project in Stillwater, is finally open and being used by students, sports teams—and Stillwater residents.

St. Croix Valley Trees

Ask many a family in the Valley: St. Croix Valley Trees in Somerset, Wis., is the perfect way to spend a chilly December day.

For Brooke Fleetwood, owner of BB Makeup, spending her life doing anything other than makeup was never an option. “My mom told me to explore being an esthetician,” Fleetwood says.

Summer is gone, but that doesn’t mean that family fun has to stop. Throughout the St. Croix Valley, there are plenty of indoor activities to keep the youngest members of your family active and engaged in the chilly months ahead.

Jill Foote and Donna Fjelstad, members of St. Croix Paranormal, are both passionate about ghost investigation. “I’ve had things around me all the time,” Fjelstad says. She started showing abilities at an early age.

You don’t need to travel to northern California or Tuscany for a food tour.

As many in Hudson know, the Spirit of St. Croix is a two-day art festival with approximately 85 to 95 artists attending each year. Since 2008, it has drawn from the majority of the St. Croix Valley, bringing in 8,000 people in 2016.
