Birthplace of the Little Free Library
They’ve popped up all over the community and beyond; the popular Little Free Library concept was started by Hudson resident Todd Bol to honor his mom, a book lover and avid reader. In 2009, Bol built the original one for his yard, loaded it with books, and added the essential ‘Free Books’ sign. He made some for friends and family, who enthusiastically embraced the project.
