Downtown Hudson Offers a Creative Coffee Shop Experience

Unsuspecting mothers Amy Salama and Louise Swenka had no idea that chaperoning their children’s school field trip would turn into a business idea, but here they are, three years later, co-owners of Wired Robin in downtown Hudson.

Wired Robin is a small coffee shop that offers a wide variety of coffee drinks, fresh baked goods and hot meals. This fall, stop in to try the many seasonal flavors and menu rotation of soups as the days get cooler. Seasonal specials include tomato basil soup, chicken wild rice soup, fresh maple oatmeal scones, maple lattes and the “Bird’s Nest,” a scramble of eggs, goat cheese, avocado and tomatoes.

“There really is a sense of community around here,” Swenka says. She loves the fact that local businesses nearby are supportive of each other. “The law firm across the street comes in often to buy lunch,” she says. The Wired Robin is proud to serve a wide variety of local and visiting customers.
