St. Croix Ballet’s annual production of The Nutracker returns to the Stillwater stage.

Stillwater’s interpretation of a timeless classic is celebrating its 25th anniversary this season.

The St. Croix Ballet’s annual production of The Nutcracker has become a Stillwater-area tradition over the years. This year, it is expected to bring more holiday cheer than ever before.

“We really want to celebrate these last 25 years,” says Susan Hovey, director of St. Croix Ballet. “Every year there is something new and exciting with this show, and that’s something people really like to see.”

Founded in 1991, the dance studio offers a year-round dance program for all ages and abilities, and performs two full-length classic ballets each year.
