In case you haven’t heard, St. Croix Recreation Center is a great place for the whole family to experience the winter (or summer) wonders of indoor ice. And this is thanks in no small part to the numerous employees and occasional volunteers behind the scenes at the space.
Nick Mundt actually looks forward to going to work every day. As co-host of some of the most popular shows on the Outdoor Channel, he works not behind a desk, but in front of a camera and out in the wilderness.

Though Jane Mannetter, better known as Zaney Janey of De-vine Designz, took a somewhat unusual path to becoming an artist, each step of that journey has informed the creations she’s become known for.
Mikayla Holmgren is a remarkable woman. After winning Minnesota Junior Miss Amazing 2015 and going on to compete in the national Junior Miss Amazing pageant, she has a new goal—Miss Minnesota USA. “We’re still looking at dresses,” says Holmgren, a native of Marine on St. Croix.
Lillie Imm has been performing since she was very young. “When I was 3, I performed my first song and dance on stage,” Imm says.
In her first year as president of the Minnesota State Bar Association, Stillwater’s Robin Wolpert has heard frustrations from people in Washington County about how little they hear about the judicial system in the news.
Blake Fry is president of the Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau, a role he’s held since 2015. Fry lives in Hudson with his wife, Michele, a speech-language pathologist in the Stillwater School District, and their children, Abby and Liam.
