Minnesota’s premier family-friendly winter resort, Afton Alps, is opening for the much-anticipated ski and snowboard season on Friday, November 22 at 3:30 p.m. To celebrate, Afton Alps will offer s’mores and hot cocoa, food trucks, live music, hat-making and much more until the resort closes at 8 p.m. Opening day rates will be $39, or $34 with the Preferred Program. The resort’s hours for the rest of opening weekend will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Come hit the slopes at Afton Alps!
