For the hard-working man in your life, June—the month of Father’s Day—is a perfect time to say thanks and treat him to something special. Here are a few gift ideas and activities that can be found right here in the St. Croix Valley.
Outdoor Gear
The one-stop shop for everything outdoors, 45 Degrees offers menswear and gear to properly outfit guys (and gals)—from hats and sunglasses right down to the socks. “Our socks really are the best,” says Jeff Anderson, shopkeeper at 45 Degrees. “They are made of merino wool, very durable and super comfortable even in the summer.” ($18–$24 a pair.) For campers, Anderson recommends a hanging hammock ($60–$110) or lounge chair ($120). “We also offer really nice handmade Norwegian outdoor knives ($90–$150),” Anderson says, as well as Swedish hand-forged axes and hatches ($125–$180). 45 Degrees; 651.430.3609
