Spring means baseball, and locals should prepare to “pony-up” to the Stillwater Area High School (SAHS) fields to support this championship team as they defend their Minnesota State title. Last season, in dramatic fashion, the Stillwater Ponies shut out Minnetonka 4-0 to finish the season with 20 straight wins and their first state championship since 1991. This adds to the abundance of state titles accumulated by SAHS in 2018 including girls softball, gymnastics, girls Nordic skiing, girls Alpine skiing, boys soccer and mountain biking!
