Introducing Some of Our Favorite New Restaurants in the St. Croix Valley

A Blackberry Smash cocktail from Brick & Bourbon
You’ve voted for your favorite restaurants in the St. Croix Valley but be sure to also check out some of the “newer” kids.

In Stillwater:

Brick and Bourbon

Opened a couple of years ago, this craft bar and eatery offers up specialty cocktails and kicked up burgers and comfort foods. Try the roasted short rib ravioli or the wild mushroom mac and cheese. The hand-crafted smoked ice balls paired with a whiskey pour will make you feel like a high roller.

Lolito

We already know you love Lolo American Kitchen, but have you tried the follow-up Latin-American themed restaurant brought to the Valley by the same successful team? They have us craving their chicken tinga quesadillas or burrito bowl. Delicioso!

Matchstick

Located inside the boutique Hotel Crosby, this farm-to-table restaurant features lots of shareables. We love the caramelized Brussels sprouts, the risotto, the short rib and the Wagyu beef.

In Hudson:

Hudson Tap

A relaxed sports bar with video games, pinball machines, arcade games and more. Get in there for some cheese curds, “Hello! Wisconsin!” Or build your own burger for 10 bucks! Beers, buckets and seasonal cocktails will make any evening a humdinger of a good time. Plus, be sure to mark your calendar for bingo nights and featured DJs.

Ziggy’s

It’s all about the street food at Ziggy’s with wings, nachos, flatbreads and sandwiches on the menu. We are most excited about the dawgs! That’s right, a Coney dawg with chili, cheese, onions and mustard are just what the summer street food gods intended. Or try a Chicago style dawg with dill pickle, relish, tomato, peppers, mustard, diced onions and celery salt on a poppyseed bun. You’re welcome.
