Movie Day: Viewer's Choice

Join us at Stillwater Public Library on Thursday, July 11 at 3:00 p.m. for Movie Day!  Beat the heat and enjoy the a/c at the library where we'll be showing a yet-to-be-determined movie. We'll collect votes for which movie is shown: "The Book of Life" vs. "Because of Winn-Dixie". Voting begins in June.

Woven Paper Kente Cloth (art for K-6)

Join us at Stillwater Public Library on Monday, July 15 from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. for Woven Paper Kente Cloth (art for K-6). Inspired by colorful textiles from the country of Ghana in Africa we will weave many bright-colored papers into a black paper “loom”. We will then draw fun designs inspired by Kente cloth onto the colorful squares creating our own beautiful patterned placemat. This workshop is for children in K-6th grade. "I Survived the Shark Attacks" Book Party

Join us at Stillwater Public Library on Thursday, July 18 at 10:30 a.m. for a fun, activity filled hour based on the book, "I Survived the Shark Attacks of 1916" by Lauren Tarshis. This program is best enjoyed by those familiar with the book. More details to be announced! Geared toward kids ages 7-10 years old.

Apollo 11 50th Anniversary

Join us at Stillwater Public Library on Saturday, July 13 at 10:30 a.m. for Apollo 11 50th Anniversary. With the 50th Anniversary of Neil Armstrong becoming the 1st person to set foot on the Moon quickly approaching (July 2019), this program presents some of the history, the vehicles, the mission, and what was learned during the historic Apollo missions.
