Kick off this family-friendly walk around the first level of the Mall of America with a complimentary breakfast followed by tons of sensory activities, mascots, games, prizes and giveaways galore. Friends Spring Book Sale

Book lovers and bargain hunters are in for a treat when the Friends of the Stillwater Public Library host their Annual Spring Used Book Sale on April 24 - 27, 2019.  The Book Sale is the Friends' most important fundraiser, and proceeds go to support the collections and programs at the library.

A preview sale will be offered to members of the Friends group only on Wednesday, April 24 from 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm.  Not a member?  Join at the door.  Read more about Friends Spring Book Sale

Friends Book Donations Drive

Donate your gently used books to the Friends of the Stillwater Public Library.  The Friends will collect books on Saturday, April 6 and Saturday, April 13 from 10:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. in the library parking ramp on Third Street. 

None of the following items will be accepted: encyclopedias, magazines, Reader’s Digest Condensed Books, textbooks, religious materials, National Geographic, videos, cassettes, partially used puzzle books. Read more about Friends Book Donations Drive

Breanna’s Star: a Night of Art, Celebration and Giving

Breanna’s Star is a Night of Art, Celebration and Giving in support of Breanna’s Gift, an organization bringing visual arts, dance, music and theater to children with life-threatening illnesses at Ronald McDonald House Upper Midwest and Children’s Minnesota in St. Paul and Minneapolis. Enjoy appetizers, wine and beer, live and silent auctions, tarot card reader and entertainment by country/rock/swing band Trailer Trash! Attire is casual. Pajama Storytime

Join us at the Stillwater Public Library on Thursdays this month at 6:30 p.m. for Pajama Storytime. Feel free to wear pajamas to this family storytime in the evening featuring stories, songs, rhymes, movement, and other activities.

Hudson Women's Club Annual Luncheon, Style Show and Silent Auction

The Hudson Women's Club will host their annual Spring Luncheon, Fashion Show and Silent Auction on Saturday, April 27 at 11:00 at the Troy Burne grand clubhouse. The event will be in the Troy Burne's bright and cheerful dining room which offers beautiful panoramic views of the golf course through nearly floor to ceiling windows, round tables set with white linens, fine dinnerware and colorful center pieces. There will be a delicious chef prepared luncheon and a silent auction with unique items, baskets and gift certificates available for bidding on. Live It Limitless 1st Annual Cruisin' for a Cause

Live It Limitless is a 501(c)(3) foundation supporting those with spinal cord injuries. The mission of the foundation is to provide assistance to those who have suffered a spinal cord injury and wish to return to an active outdoor lifestyle. This run will help provide funds for grants to individuals for the purchase of necessary adaptive equipment for outdoor acttivities such as skiing, biking, etc. The run will start at Beach Bar and then proceed to Nauti Hawg Bar and Grill, Maiden Rock Park, The Pickle Factory, and finishing at Langers Bar. "Cody's Dash for Down Syndrome"

2018 “Cody’s Dash for Down Syndrome” is on Sat. June 16th at Central Park in Hopkins.  Our event is a 5K run/walk family event, with a kid’s dash, kid’s games, face painting, balloon artists, FREE Dilly Bars, live music, food trucks and much more!!! All of the proceeds from our event support the FREE therapeutic, educational, and social programs for children and adults with Down syndrome, at “Gigi’s Playhouse” in St. Louis Park. Hammer Residences, Inc. is a Minnesota non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Founded in 1923 by Alvina Hammer, Hammer provides residential caring support for adult and children with developmental disabilities. Hammer Residences, Inc. serves more than 1500 individuals with a wide range of intellectual disabilities like Autism and Down syndrome. Hammer serves 284 people in 36 homes and 10 apartment complexes in the western metro of the Twin Cities. We also provide specialized services to more than 1,600 individuals in their homes.
