The land was first imagined as a space for homes in 2004. After several subsequent repurchases, Mattamy Homes became the developer, which began the process. “I think it’s something that’s not your typical suburban neighborhood,” Rask says. “Its focus on architecture and the relationship of homes to open-space components of the neighborhood really make it unique. It’s something that you don’t really see in a suburban market.”
Residents can expect to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere brought by not only the open prairie, walking and biking trails, and an on-site nature center, but also by a beautiful arrangement of homes and even a playground expected next year. The neighborhood is also well situated between highways 36 and 94, with easy access to the friendly downtown areas of Bayport and Stillwater.
