Ah, the new year, when everyone’s thoughts turn to new beginnings, life changes and optimism for the future. Instead of sharing a book about resolutions such as diets and healthy cooking, I’m recommending something different: Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert. Many people know Gilbert from her best-selling memoir Eat Pray Love.
In Big Magic, Gilbert discusses creativity and how to unleash it. She offers endless inspiration to explore the creativity that you may not think you have. The reader is encouraged to “tap into their inner courage, find enchantment and permit yourself to live a creative life.”
I found it very inspiring and the perfect motivation to tackle whatever your new beginning is in 2016.
