The second Chamber Winter Gala Community Awards Celebration takes place this month at The Heights Hall in Oak Park Heights. The event promises to be a wonderful and sophisticated evening spent making connections and honoring local business. Chamber executive director Robin Anthony says this gala is a perfect opportunity for people to come together, “and celebrate bridging business and community.” The event is open to the public and will be filled with live music from Shoop Jazz, a full dinner, cash bar and auction. Most important, awards will be presented in categories such as business of the year, nonprofit of the year, volunteer of the year and plenty more. Anthony sums it up by saying this wonderful and fun event is an opportunity to “bring businesses and the community together.”
